This training will delve into the mechanism of the co-optimized energy and reserve market exploring topics such as pricing, scheduling, settlement processes and compliance. It also ensures that participants gain a comprehensive understanding of these critical components

The Retail Market Training is a comprehensive course that introduces the attendees to the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) regime and the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP) in the Philippines. It covers relevant laws, integration of retail market processes in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), and the IT system that facilitates the market transactions.

The REM / PREMS Training is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the core principles of the Renewable Energy Market (REM). The Advanced WESM Training on Trading Operations provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the trading operations within the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM). This comprehensive program covers a wide range of topics, including registration of generation and load facilities, market network model development and maintenance, load forecasting methodology, procedures for normal system conditions, generator start-up and shutdown, generator re-dispatch, procedures during market intervention or suspension, market infrastructure, and understanding market data.

The Advanced WESM Training on Pricing and Settlement is designed to provide participants with an advanced understanding of the pricing mechanisms within the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM). This comprehensive program covers a wide range of topics, including the Market Dispatch Optimization Model (MDOM), locational marginal pricing (LMP), automatic pricing re-run, and other pricing methodologies in the post-market run calculation module of the Market Management System.
