Notice of Deregistration of Malaya Thermal Power Plant Unit 2

The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) as the market operator of the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), gives notice that the Power Sector Assets & Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) has notified IEMOP that it shall deregister Malaya Thermal Power Plant Unit 2 facility from its portfolio. PSALM remains to be a registered WESM Member as it has other WESM-registered facility.

IEMOP has confirmed the deregistration of the Malaya Thermal Power Plant Unit 2 facility to be effective on 26 December 2021.  This notice is being issued pursuant to WESM Rules clause 2.6.3.

           The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP), as the market operator of the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), gives notice that Millennium Energy, Inc. (MEIMGTPP) has notified IEMOP on 8 October 2021 that it shall cease its membership in the WESM as Direct WESM Member – Generation Company Category .

            IEMOP has confirmed the cessation of the Millennium Energy, Inc. ’s WESM membership to be effective on 25 December 2021.  This notice is being issued pursuant to WESM Rules clause 2.6.3.

The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines Inc. (IEMOP) invites eligible external providers to express interest in providing the Supply of Products and Delivery of Services for the IEMOP Network Rehab Stage 2 Project.

Interested external providers may obtain further information regarding the project details and eligibility requirements on the following page of this ITB.

The following eligibility documents shall be submitted together with the Letter of Interest thru email on or before the target date of submission:

 

Legal Documents

o Registration Certificate from Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other entities authorized to issue registration certificates; and

o Current Mayor’s permit issued by the city or municipality where the principal place of business of the prospective bidder is located.

 

In the case of foreign prospective bidders, equivalent proof of such registration and permit issued in the foreign country must be submitted.

 

Technical Documents

o Company Profile and Brief Description of the Organization

o List of ongoing and completed projects or engagements on Network Rehabilitation; and

o List of available resources (number of staff and their expertise, relevant software, etc.);

 

Financial Documents

o The Bidder’s Latest Audited Financial Statements (AFS), showing among others, the Bidder’s total and current assets and liabilities; and

o Latest income tax return bearing stamp or proof of receipt by the BIR or its equivalent document issued in a foreign country
